Those were some of the happiest times of my life, camping out at the annual three-day music and art festival in Sonoma County, CA. I don't know why it ended, but it ended with a bang, with The Flaming Lips interactive performance. We heard inspiring headliners like Matisyahu, Lauryn Hill,
India Arie, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Grace Potter & The Nocturnals, Cake, Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, Steel Pulse, and discovered new bands like G. Love & Special Sauce and Dehli 2 Dublin. Sunday morning performances by The Blind Boys of Alabama and legend Mavis Staples of The Staple Singers.
